I'm Sick (Pharyngitis)

Pharyngitis is inflammation of the back of the throat. This results in a sore throat, which is discomfort, pain, or scratchiness in the throat. Swallowing can be mildly painful as well. Sore throats, which are often caused by an infection, are very common, especially in children.

The symptoms of pharyngitis may include the following:

* Sore throat
* Pain when swallowing
* Fever
* Enlarged lymph nodes in your neck
* Runny nose and postnasal drip
* Headache
* In rare cases, difficulty breathing

Risk Factors

* Cold and flu seasons
* Someone living in your house has a sore throat or cold

Preventive Care

* Avoid kissing or sharing cups and eating utensils with anyone who has pharyngitis, a cold, flu, mononucleosis, or bacterial infection.
* Avoid any irritants that might affect your throat, such as smoke from cigarettes, cigars, or pipes.

hahahahaha!!!! avoid kissing!!?? hmmm.. sige na nga stop kissing muna ;)
I really had difficulty in swallowing specially the food I ate grrr (my hubby brought me arozcaldo, one of my favorite especially cold seasons,dli ko ka bwelo ug lamon), my voice becomes husky.

I was absent last night due to my pharyngitis. Buti nalang i asked a medical certificate to my doctor for me to have a rest last night.

My doctor prescribed me an anti-biotic , gosh!!! it's so expensive.. na windang ko!!to buy all those tablets huhuhu!!! but i have to buy those number of tablets. Now that i took my medicine for 2 days, it's not really that painful like the past 3 days. Thank's to you DoC :)
